ABSTRACT

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant morbidity and mortality worldwide. As with many other infectious diseases in history, the vaccination programme has been successful in helping offer a much welcomed control measure over the pandemic and can reduce the severity of illness in those subsequently infected. Minor side effects are common whereas serious adverse effects are fortunately rare. We describe a case of eosinophilic pneumonia following COVID-19 vaccination. The patient presented with symptoms which were almost identical to that of acute COVID-19 infection.
